Amélia Pinto

[PT] Licenciada em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto (2016-2020) e pós-graduada em Direitos Humanos pelo Ius Gentium Conimbrigae – Centro de Direitos Humanos da Universidade de Coimbra (2021). Atualmente, frequenta o mestrado em Direito, especialização em Direito Internacional e Europeu na NOVA Law School.
Ativista pelos direitos das mulheres, foi coordenadora do primeiro coletivo feminista da FDUP. Organizou e participou em diversas iniciativas contra a desigualdade de género e a violência contra as mulheres. Fez ainda parte de projetos de voluntariado, nomeadamente de apoio a refugiados.
Tem particular interesse nas áreas de Direito de Asilo e Refugiados, Direito da União Europeia, Direitos Fundamentais e Direito Internacional Público no geral.

[EN] Degree in Law from the School of Law of the University of Porto (2016-2020) and a postgraduate degree in Human Rights from the Ius Gentium Conimbrigae – Center for Human Rights of the University of Coimbra (2021). She is currently attending a Master in Law, specialisation in International and European Law at NOVA School of Law.
Activist for women’s rights, she was coordinator of the first feminist collective of the FDUP. She organized and participated in various initiatives against gender inequality and violence against women. She was also part of volunteer projects, namely in support of refugees.
She is particularly interested in the areas of Asylum and Refugee Law, European Union Law, Fundamental Rights and Public International Law in general.
